YAMADASAN provides families, large groups, couples and adventure seekers of all ages affordable, quality Madarao accommodation –  within some of Japan’s best ski country. We run both a 9 room Ski Lodge & a 38-room Ski Hotel on beautiful Madarao Mountain.

Our name “Yamadasan” (Yamada-san) holds within a proud tradition of exceptional hospitality provided by Mr & Mrs Yamada – the original owners of our first lodge accommodation procured at beautiful Madarao.

In honour of their legacy and devotion to Madarao tourism, we continue to host in the same authentic style as they have done.  Our aim is to always delight and surprise guests with warm hospitality in comfortable lodge-style accommodation.

As Hiroshi and Yuki have proven time and again, service can indeed be five stars (and counting) without the silver trimmings.
